Moon Ridge reserves the right to first pick of all litters. Not all rabbits born in our rabbity will be for sale. We are breeding for show and rabbits that fit our criteria may be held back for further evaluation.

We will only sell our bunnies to approved pet homes and reputable breeders.

The best way to have a chance at getting the bunny you want is by being on our waitlist prior to bunnies being born. We move down the waitlist in order, so this is not a guarantee, but it will give you the best possible chance.

Each bunny that comes available will be individually priced based on body type, colour, pedigree, temperament and other factors. Purchasing multiple rabbits may entitle you to a discount based on the bunnies you have chosen.

Absolutely no bunny will leave the rabbitry before 8 weeks of age. No exceptions! We know that baby bunnies are the absolute cutest, and that you want to snuggle them as soon as possible, but it is extremely important for the babies to get the best possible start! Babies can be weaned as early as 6 weeks, but naturally, this is a very stressful time for a young bun! High levels of stress can cause gastrointestinal issues and even death in a young rabbit so it is best if they are kept with their siblings, in a familiar setting until they recover from the stress of weaning. We reserve the right to hold any rabbit back if we feel it is in the best interest of the rabbit.

Moon Ridge will never knowingly sell a rabbit in poor health. All bunnies are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. Unfortunately, once a rabbit leaves our rabbitry, we can no longer control the level of care and therefore can not guarantee how the bunny will respond. We are always available for questions regarding your bunny and encourage you to reach out if you have any concerns.

While we do our very best at determining gender and ask for help if needed, rabbits are notoriously difficult to sex and therefore we do not guarantee the genders of our bunnies. We encourage you to verify for yourself upon pickup/delivery of your rabbit. If it is found that we were incorrect in our gender determination, please contact us. Note: No Refunds will be issued.

Owning a rabbit is a long term commitment and a decision that should not be taken lightly. We hope our buyers are educated and prepared for rabbit ownership! However, we also understand that sometimes things happen that are out of our control. Should you need to re-home your pet rabbit, we ask that you contact us! We will work alongside you and assist you to ensure your bunny finds an amazing new home! If re-homing is urgent, we will always take our rabbits back to ensure they never end up in a shelter. Note: No refunds will be issued. Should you fail to contact us prior to re-homing, you will not be eligible to purchase a bunny from us in the future.

Breeders: If we have sold a rabbit with pedigree and breeding rights, we trust that you will be able to find a suitable home if you choose to re-home our bunnies. We will, of course, take back any rabbit that is in urgent need or if you are unable to find them placement! We are also happy to help with the rehoming process if needed!

Delivery to South-East Edmonton, Leduc, Sherwood Park, Camrose, and Tofield area is available! Farther delivery is available at the buyers expense, paid upfront. We are also willing to work with transportation companies at the buyers expense.

Our waitlist deposit is $30. This is your commitment to purchasing a rabbit from us and giving you priority choice of our available rabbits. You have one year to use your deposit before it is forfeited. This fee comes off the total cost of the bunny once one has been chosen. Once a bunny has been chosen, a 50% deposit of the remaining balance is required to mark the bunny as reserved. The remaining balance and any agreed upon transportation costs are due prior to the bunny leaving our rabbity.

All deposits and fees are NON REFUNDABLE.

Moon Ridge reserves the right to back out of any sale at any time, for any reason without explanation. If we should choose to back out of a sale, you will be refunded all fees.

Please fill out the applicable application form (pet/breeder) prior to sending us a waitlist deposit.

Pet homes are required to sign a pet contract before a bunny can be reserved.

Rabbits sold to pet homes are not to be used for breeding purposes and therefore will not receive a pedigree. (But will receive a birth certificate!) A bunny sold with a pedigree is suitable for breeding, but will only be available to approved breeders. We want to ensure our bunnies never contribute to the abundance of poorly bred rabbits that end up in shelters, which is why we take vetting breeders seriously!
